For example, three out of five employees found on LinkedIn are based in India. Considering the quality of website copy and essay writing issues I'll cover in detail in this Cheapestessay.com review, I suspect the company is just a front.

If you focus on Cheapestessay.com reviews posted on the website, you'll get a near-perfect 4.9-star rating. However, the stats on the homepage are outdated. For instance, the SiteJabber rating is currently 4.2 instead of 4.7. And the Trustpilot page has been deleted, so there's no telling how good or bad the reviews were. 

I stumbled across a few discussions on Reddit and Quora, but none provided any actual details or evidence apart from enthusiastic recommendations or warnings to stay away. Those are likely to be doctored by the writing service or its rivals, so I pay them no mind. 

CheapestEssay on Social Media

CheapestEssay's social media pages are all about memes and jokes that don't land. Facebook https://www.facebook.com/CheapestEssay and Twitter https://twitter.com/CheapestEssay are the only active accounts, while the Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/cheapest.essay/ was abandoned about a year ago. I was curious about a 4.7-star Cheapestessay.com rating on Facebook. And while most of the 50+ reviews were positive, I found a couple that claimed low grades and the company's unwillingness to issue refunds.

The Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/CheapestEssay/videos is a disaster with around 500 subscribers and a dozen short clips that are supposed to be funny. There have been no new uploads within the last six months, so the channel is probably abandoned.

Prices and Deadlines

One of the main advantages of this writing service is the affordable Cheapestessay.com price range 

The prices above apply to the College writer level, and Bachelor and Master writers get more expensive. The lowest prices apply to 19-day deadlines and the highest - to 3-hour deadlines. 

My paper cost $15.95 per page with a 7-day deadline, but thanks to a first-order discount, I only paid around $55 for a 4-page essay.

There are some writer profiles on the website, but no way to pick a specific writer in any meaningful way. At best, you can choose a Top-10 writer (+25% to order total) or a Preferred writer (+20%), but you only get the writer's number, not their name or rating.

According to vague writer descriptions on the homepage, all writers hold MBA or PhD degrees, but I doubt that's true. I don't think the person working on my essay was a native English speaker. And I doubt they have a postgraduate degree, considering the word choice was high-school-level at best.

How to Make an Order at CheapestEssay

1. Create an account using your email and password, or log in with a Google account.
2. Choose the type of service and writer level, and specify the paper type, number of pages, and topic. Upload assignment requirements or fill in the details in the text box. Remember to set the deadline.
3. Specify order preferences: style, number of sources, charts, and slides. 
4. Add extra services, like email delivery, Turnitin report, or preferred writer.
5. Redeem balance funds if you have any.
6. Proceed to payment via credit card, Klarna, or Alipay.
7. Follow the order progress in the "Orders" tab of the dashboard.

Paper Quality and My Experience Using This Service

I wanted a short 4-page English essay and paid around $55 to get it in a week. I know my way around writing services, so I made my instructions very clear and uploaded the professor's rubric. But still, the writer ignored my requirements and even altered the topic. In addition, they messed up the sources and made too many mistakes for me to bother editing. Judging by the disgruntled reviews for Cheapestessay.com I've come across, ignoring order details is a common occurrence.

I checked the paper I got using CheapestEssay's plagiarism checker and compared the results with a QueText check. Unsurprisingly, the company found no trace of similarities, while the other checker highlighted around 15% of the text. The percentage would have been even higher had the writer corrected all grammar mistakes.

CheapestEssay Additional Features

Cheapest Essay boasts a newly developed free plagiarism checker tool, but it works no better than other free online checkers. And there's always a risk they'll keep a copy of any paper you run through their checker.

The order form offered a few extras to add to my total, including:

I didn't get any of the extras before writing this Cheapest Essay review, so I don't know if they are worth the expense. Still, paying two bucks just for an email seems a bit much

Refund and Revision Policies

Revision terms are ridiculous. You can request corrections within 20 days of downloading the paper, but the company will deliver an updated version within 15 days (or within 48 hours if the edits are minor). The revisions are free, but if they take two weeks to deliver, they are useless. 

The Money-Back Policy is pretty much the same. The company promises 50% and 100% refunds, but there are no clear terms. For example, if your paper is late, you can request a full refund or get 20% back if you're willing to extend the deadline. And a Turnitin report is a must if you claim plagiarism. 

Based on the negative Cheapest Essay reviews I found, refunds are not an option. Most unhappy customers get store credit, which is useless unless you're ready to trust this service again. 

Support and Communication

My live chats with the support team could have been a highlight of this CheapestEssay review if they had been a little faster with their responses and a little less pushy when convincing me to place the order. They were also very fond of stock responses that had nothing to do with my questions. Besides, the agents turned cold and rude when I asked about revisions and refunds. 

Aside from the live chat, there's an option to give the company a call or use the contact form to send a message, though I didn't use either of these options. 

Verdict

If you want my review on Cheapestessay.com in a nutshell: it's dirt-cheap, yet still ridiculously overpriced. Even if I'd had a pleasant overall experience (which I didn't), I'd still recommend you to steer clear because you won't get your money's worth, and you won't be able to get it back.
